An original art deco antique large and rare French boudoir lamp by Pierre Le Faguays under the pseudonym "Fayral" by the Max Le Verrier foundry. A decorative rarity and seductive masterwork; all original with patinated green figure and support structure, frosted glass shade and marble base. Retains silk-wrap cloth cord with bakelite on/off switch in working fine condition.






Le Faguays was born in Nantes, France and became famous for the originality he gave his dancers, many of which were inspired by the statues of Tanagra. He gained a medal of honor for his work in 1927. The recasts of this lamp which pale in comparison and detail sell for $2850.00. Shipping in the United States included in sale.
